If you are motivated and currently looking for work but are having difficulty because you lack experience, or are returning to the workforce after an extended leave, this program might be helpful.  To participate you must be on EI or have established a claim in the last 3 years (5 years if leave was parental). The program provides a subsidy to employers, an incentive  to help cover the cost of your on-the-job orientation.

This is not a job placement service.  You will still be responsible for your own job search; however, we provide an introductory letter you can give to employers that tells them they may get a subsidy if they hire you.  Also, employers frequently call us with job vacancies and we refer qualified AWS candidates to them.
